Handbook of Comparative Political Institutions
Edited by Adrian Vatter & Rahel Freiburghaus
Adrian Vatter and Rahel Freiburghaus are currently editing the Handbook of Comparative Political Institutions (under contract with Edward Elgar Publishing). The Handbook will provide a comprehensive and authoritative overview to the numerous topics of current research in the field of Comparative Political Institutions from a mainly political science perspective. Its main goal is to put together a «state of the art» analysis in this field by taking stock, and systematizing, the multitude of theoretical, conceptual, and methodological innovations that have recently spurred a range of cutting-edge scholarship in Comparative Political Institutions whose study is, needless to say, among the founding pillars of political science.
The Handbook of Comparative Political Institutions will thus bring together leading scholars at the forefront of research. Contributors come from a wide range of different institutional traditions and systems, mainly from the US and Europe, with political science and comparative politics backgrounds, and include a diverse set of both established and up-and-coming academics.
The Table of Contents can be found here (as of 15 April 2023).
